Annual Motorcycle Road Racing Exhibition

Date: 8 May to 8 August

Venue: Ballymoney Museum. 

The exhibition focuses on the success of local riders and the road circuits that have provided such memorable races for over a century, with a display of leathers, helmets, trophies, and memorabilia.

Lissanoure Castle Walk

Saturday 30th May at 2 pm - "The History of Ballycastle Coalfields and their Maritime Links". Talk on the Ballycastle Coalfields and Maritime History by Thomas McErlean, University of Ulster.

Please note: Deaf Awareness will hold a clinic in Ballycatle Library on Thursay 21st May from 1 pm  - 3 pm.  Advice given and hearing aids repaired.

Go Nordic on Benone Beach

Date: Thurs 23 July

Venue: Benone Strand. 

This is a unique opportunity to learn the basics of Nordic walking on Benone Strand.  During the walk participants will visit The Umbra, to learn more about the biodiversity of this special place.  Light refreshments will be provided.  Booking is required.

Armoy Motorcycling Road Race Festival

Sun 19 July – Sat 25 July.  Practice day Fri 24, Race Day Sat 25 July

The Armoy Motorcycle Road Races, dubbed the "Race of Legends", honours local legends Frank Kennedy, Mervyn Robinson, Joey Dunlop and Jim Dunlop, collectively known as the Armoy Armada. This year's races are on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2015 and features top riders Guy Martin, William Dunlop, Keith Amor, Dan Kneen, Dean Harrison and Michael Dunlop to name but a few. There is a week-long festival of events centred around the Road Races in the village of Armoy and everyone is invited.
