Gortconny Cottage is a recently renovated farmhouse in an area of outstanding natural beauty two miles west of Ballycastle town centre, it is set in a three quarter of an acre site on the coast road.

Gortconny sleeps eight people in four bedrooms, one double bed, one compact double and two bunk rooms. There is one large kitchen, dining living area with an open fire and one bathroom with electric shower. The cottage has been recently renovated and is well equipped including microwave and washing machine, but it is really for those who want to get away from it all and as such has no TV, WiFi nor telephone (mobile phone signal somewhere between the couch and the dining table).

The name Gortconny comes from the Irish- field of the rabbit- and you’ll probably see a few during your visit.

The area is ideal for walking and cycling. Rathlin Island ferry connects with Rathlin and the RSPB reserve
Ballycastle has good pubs and restaurants with traditional and modern music.

Ballycastle is accessible from Belfast and International Airport by bus or taxi.
