Drumnahay Lodge

About

Drumnahay Lodge is a spacious country cottage, formerly a family residence. Newly refurbished to a high standard, it is an all ground floor accommodation with a disabled access at the back. Original features such as wood and terrazzo flooring, cornices, fireplaces and stain glass windows have been preserved to retain the art deco character of the house whilst bringing a contemporary feel with well-chosen modern touches.

The Lodge is a 4 star Tourism NI approved self-catering accommodation. It is untypical in the self-catering market as it conveys the quality and character of a genuine home. The lodge is secluded and private – the perfect retreat for those who wish to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban living and is particularly well suited for family groups. It enjoys the privacy of having no close neighbours, yet it remains accessible to all local amenities. An enclosed garden and extensive grounds make it ideal for outdoor play.

Drumnahay Lodge is situated in one of Northern Ireland’s designated areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The panoramic views from every window take in the majestic Binevenagh Mountain to the front, which dominates the skyline, whilst to either side there is the vast stretch of Magilligan’s plains. To the rear are the blue-misted rolling hills of Donegal, clearly visible across the shores of Lough Foyle. It is a perfect retreat for relaxed holidays in Northern Ireland.
