About

Portrush Waves, our 230+ ***** AirBnB reviewed accommodation, is a beautiful 3 storey townhouse that has been lovingly restored. It's a 2 minute walk to the golden sands of West Strand beach and just a 15 minute walk to the harbour where there are a host of restaurants and bars.

As well as the glorious beaches, Portrush is rich with attractions including world famous golf courses, surfing, paddle boarding and coasteering and is the setting for the NW200 motorcycle races. Game of Thrones fans can enjoy the many filming sites nearby including the Dark Hedges, Dunluce Castle and Ballintoy Harbour. It's a 20 minute drive to the world famous Giant's Causeway along, arguably, one of the most scenic routes in the world. There is also the magnificent East Strand with miles of golden sands leading you to the impressive White Rocks. Our BnB is perfectly located to enjoy all of these.

Our main rooms, situated on separate floors, now contain their own 'kitchenettes' to ensure minimum contact with others. We put these in place for extra safety when the pandemic arrived. This means you can be more independent as you have a private area outside your room with a fridge and small larder. Each room has a Smart TV with all channels like Netflix. Of course use of the laundry and main kitchen facilities is still possible.

Our top floor is a contemporary, expansive space that has the feeling of a little Scandi apartment with a comfy sofa to relax in and a Super King bed adorned with White Company linen. The ensuite has a free standing bath and a walk-in shower.

Our first floor room is more traditional but is also very spacious, decorated in a more traditional style but still with a kingsize bed and lux linen. The modern bathroom is just along the hall, please note you have the whole floor to yourself and if you wish can hire the twin room next door, this is a great option for families.

Finally, we have a “love, kindness and respect” policy, not for a party crowd!
