About

Apart from walking on the beach and swimming , there is a local 9-hole golf course, a local surfing school, and various weekend activities throughout the summer. There are a number of local restaurants and a pub. The entire Causeway coast, Coleraine, Portrush, and Portstewart are near at hand. A ferry from Magilligan point (12 minutes drive) continually operates during the summer to Innisowen and Donegal from the end of the Beach.

Our rentals run from Saturday with 5 days being the shortest booking duration on offer. The maximum number of occupants is 6 (4 Adults, 2 children). We have central heating, wi-fi, a television and fridge. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a toaster, microwave cooker, and an electric kettle. All bedding and towels are provided. A single car space is reserved. Use of electricity and the gas for cooking is included in the price.

This private caravan site is a secure, child friendly, family site. It is two minutes walk from Benone Strand. This European Blue Flag and Seaside Award beach is a golden sandy beach without rocks, shingle or seaweed. Lifeguard service is on duty daily in July and August from 11:00 to 19:00. The Sea Shed Coffee Shop is located at the entrance to the beach and serves excellent coffee and hot chocolate. Benone Tourist Complex is approximately 10 minute walk away and includes a supervised playground, outdoor heated splash pool, tennis, an activities centre, crazy golf and 9 hole golf course. Waves Coffee Shop and Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, dinner. There is a small food shop and carry 5 minutes walk away from the caravan, and 2 supermarkets 10 minutes drive away.

Events in 2019 include The 148th Open, North West 200 motorcycle racing The Maiden City Festival and the Jazz Festival in Derry City, the Red Sails Festival in Portstewart, the Stendhal Festival of Art in Limavady, the Salmon and Whiskey Festival in Bushmills are some of the others.
