About

Boy Matthew is a very well maintained 26ft Kingfisher angling boat, captained by Peter Boston. It is M.C.A. certified and licenced, and insured for 12 passengers. All safety requirements are carried on board along with full range of up to date fish finding equipment.

Peter's season starts in May and runs until October. During that time he offers fishing trips to suit all levels of expertise, from novice anglers to clubs, groups families and work outings. Six hour charter trips fishing offshore for ling, pollack, cod and other reef fish need to be booked in advance. During July and August there are two three hour trips daily for those with less experience and wish to land their first fish. These trips are family friendly and offer plenty of craic and banter on board. Rods and tackle included, so no need to worry about having the right gear.

With over twenty years experience in sea angling, Peter's aim is to make your day out on the Boy Matthew one that will bring you back year after year.

Operates from Portstewart Harbour.
