Off the Beaten Track North Coast Game of Thrones® Tour

Book Tickets Online

An amazing Game of Thrones® tour for small group independent travellers, visiting the off the beaten-track filming locations allowing fans to hear behind the scenes stories. Giant Tours Ireland showcases the beauty of our coastline by going off the beaten-track and avoiding the crowded hotspots.

When Game of Thrones® Season 6 was in the making, your tour guide Flip Robinson had the good fortune of being selected to be a body double actor appearing on three episodes as a stand in for the characters of Hodor and The Mountain. As a huge fan of the show, he then developed his own Game of Thrones® private tour so he can bring fans to the actual locations and spots where the iconic cast and talented crew worked to create the masterpiece which has enchanted people around the globe. This tour allows visitors to immerse themselves in the stunning places which have made Northern Ireland the ideal filming location.

Visitors on the tour will hear the copious amounts of behind-the-scenes stories from Flip’s experience with the cast and crew. It’s his authentic experiences which enables him to bring private small groups of dedicated Game of Thrones®? fans to see and stand on the exact locations which most visitors do not get to reach on large coach tours.

The guided tours are combined with plenty of photography stops and walks, all at a relaxed pace, as well as a lunch stop at recommended cafés, bars and restaurants. Each guided tour includes bottled water, tea & coffee and a morning snack on board (lunch not included in price).

Filming locations visited include Cushendun Caves, Murlough Bay, Larrybane and Ballintoy to name a few. Discover for yourself how the rugged good looks of the area attracted the attention of the show’s producers. If you don’t recognise them from the show, don’t fret – Flip is on hand to show you the scenes they were used in.

This is a must for any Game of Thrones® fans’ bucket list so make sure and tick it off.

Day tours depart from Belfast & Ballycastle. Also custom and multi day tours available. Maximum 8 people.

This tour is independently operated by Giant Tours Ireland. It is not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with HBO or anyone associated with Game of Thrones®.
