About

The Edge Watersports at The Crannagh Activity Centre is the North Coast's premiere centre for water based activities. Activities on offer include Water Skiing, Wakeboarding,  Stand Up Paddleboarding, Canoeing and  Kayaking, with Jumbo Paddleboards  available for group and party bookings.  There is something for everyone, no matter what your age or ability.

For over twenty six years Rob and his team have specialised in providing one to one tuition in waterskiing, wakeboarding, barefooting and kneeboarding. Lessons are carried out by our trained instructors, so whether you are a complete novice, or an experienced skier, the staff at The Crannagh will ensure you learn in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Age is no barrier at The Crannagh, infants to seniors can enjoy the thrills of watersport. In addition, The Crannagh is the first watersports centre in Northern Ireland to offer waterskiing for the disabled, and we now have the equipment to teach wheelchair users, the visually impaired and amputees, so whatever your ability or disability, there are no barriers to enjoying this action packed sport.

All activities are tailored to suit the individual or group involved, with the emphasis on safety and fun. Protective equipment is provided for all users.

At The Crannagh we also cater for youth groups, parties and schools. We are also a registered activity provider for the Education Authority.

Packages of activities can be tailored to your requirements we can ensure your group has a fun time. We can provide half day, or full day activity packages with a wide range of activities under the careful instruction of our dedicated staff. These can be as relaxed or as challenging as you require.

Our on site Watersports Shop is one of the best stocked Waterski and Wakeboard Shops in Ireland, with equipement from Liquid Force, O'Brien and Jobe. We also stock a large range of Inflatables, Ropes, Handles, Wetsuits from O'Neill and a wide range of boating accessories.

Directions from Town:From Coleraine: Travel through Coleraine Town and follow the signs for Portstewart and you will find us 0.5 miles from the Causeway Coast and Glens Council Offices, behind the university hall of residence. From Belfast: Head north out of Belfast on the M2 mottorway to the A26 junction at Antrim. Continue on the A26 to Ballymena M2. From the M2 in Ballymena continue north to Coleraine. Travel through Coleraine Town and follow the signs for Portstewart and you will find us 0.5 miles from the Causeway Coast and Glens Council Offices, behind the university hall of residence. From Dublin: From Dublin head north along the M1 motorway to Newry and then continue on to the A1 road to Lisburn. Once you get to Sprucefield join the M1 motorway and Westlink to contiune through Belfast. Head north out of Belfast on the M2 mottorway to the A26 junction at Antrim. Continue on the A26 to Ballymena M2. From the M2 in Ballymena continue north to Coleraine.
