Bushmills Bat Walk

Millennium Car Park, Main Street, Bushmills, County Antrim, BT57 8QB
Image of the type of bat found in Northern Ireland

Join terrestrial Ecologist and Northern Ireland Bat Group (NIBG) Member Nathan McIlwrath and the Causeway Coast & Glens Heritage Trust for a Bat walk around the village of Bushmills.

Whether you're batty about bats or just want to find out more about our only true flying mammal. Uncover the exciting nocturnal world of bats and their amazing acrobatics.

Using specialist equipment (bat detectors) from the NIBG to hear bat calls, the guided walk will help to dispel common myths, discuss the conservation issues, and explore what action we can take to help bats.

Participants should wrap up warmly and PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TORCH.
