About

The warm sound of Donegal Strings will fill, once more, every corner of the library temple.

An eclectic programme of approximately one hour without interval playing music by Vivaldi, Haendel, Shostakovich, Piazzolla, as well as John McLachlan's Tango for Strings, written for and dedicated to the Donegal Chamber Orchestra.

The String Chamber Orchestra features musicians of all ages and levels including amateurs, students, semi professionals, all led by professional players.

Based at the Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny, every Summer the chamber orchestra goes to play in different locations on the isle of Ireland.
