After a two year postponement due to covid restrictions Ballywillan Drama Group are delighted to finally bring this new musical to Northern Ireland.This award-winning group return to the Riverside Theatre with the Northern Ireland Premiere of KINKY BOOTS – the freshest, most fabulous, feel-good musical of the decade.

Inspired by true events KINKY BOOTS tells the story of Charlie Price, who, having inherited the almost bankrupt Northampton shoe factory from his father, forms an unlikely partnership with cabaret performer and drag queen, Lola, in order to produce a line of high-heeled boots to save the business.

This new musical has music and lyrics by Cyndi Lauper and book by Harvey Fierstein and features a host of leading musical theatre stars.The show will be a visual feast – a stunning new set has been especially designed for the Riverside and the costumes and boots have been designed and made by the costumier of the original London production!No expense is being spared to bring this amazing musical to the Riverside stage in 2023.

This Olivier and Tony Award-Winning musical is set to take the Riverside by storm and early booking is highly recommended.
