This weeklong summer festival includes a variety of free entertainment for all ages.

Live music this year includes performances from The Doghouse Ska Band, Willie Drennan Ulster Scots Folk Band, The Dandy Lyons, Rol The Dice, Southbound Train and The Alastair Scott Ceilidh Band. Hugo Duncan's Radio Ulster Roadshow will be broadcasting live from The Crescent Bandstand.

Children's events include a sandcastle workshop and competition, kite making workshop, Viking workshop, magic show and disco including games.

Other children's competitions include Reds Sails Talent, Pavement Art, and fancy dress.

With O'Hara's Castle as a backdrop, The Red Sails Festival Finale Fireworks Display has become one of the most popular displays in Ireland.
