REAL LIVES: THE ART OF LIVING WITH DEMENTIA
Dementia NI
4 – 25 November
Exhibition launch: Saturday 4 November, 12noon. Free admission, everyone welcome.
Curated by Dementia NI, Northern Ireland's leading charity for people in the early to middle stages of dementia, this exhibition features thought-provoking photography and patchwork quilts created by Dementia NI members, all of whom live with a diagnosis of dementia. Challenging some misconceptions about dementia, it shares a message of hope that many people with dementia are still able to enjoy life in the same way as before their diagnosis and live well with dementia.
There is an associated workshop that accompanies this course for people with dementia and a friend or family member. For more information on the workshop click here - https://roevalleyarts.com/workshops/craft-workshop-for-those-living-with-dementia-and-a-family-or-friend
