About

UNCOVER THE ANCIENT ARTISTRY OF IRISH NEOLITHIC POTTERY

As part of August Craft Month, take some time to uncover the ancient artistry of Irish Neolithic Pottery in this immersive workshop with archaeologist Catriona Brogan and Potter Fiona Shannon.

Experience the magic of moulding clay into timeless treasures while connecting with Ireland's fascinating past. Following a short talk from Catriona, you will have the opportunity to create a piece inspired by Irish Neolithic pots using ancient techniques such as burnishing with stones and creating decoration with wood and bone. An unmissable dig into our ancient past.
