About

Learn how to taste and access the quality of coffee from professional Baristas.

Located on the outskirts of the harbour town of Coleraine on the Causeway Coast,  Fidela Coffee welcomes visitors to experience their coffee through an immersive bean to cup experience.  Founders Rachel and Frank met in Frank’s native Columbia and what began as an initiative to work with Frank’s family farms in the well-known coffee region of Nariño has grown to a collection of farms working together with continued support from Frank and Rachel.

Be inspired by Frank and Rachel’s story that has taken them from the remote coffee growing farms of deepest Columbia to the modern roastery and coffee shop in Coleraine.  Named after Frank’s grandmother, Fidela, this is a heartwarming story of family, enterprise, entrepreneurship, support, connection and great coffee. From the warehouse to the roastery and coffee school, hear about the traditional production techniques and learn about the process of cupping coffee. Enjoy an expert guided tasting of a range of profiles guaranteed to awaken and delight the taste buds. Embrace the flavours from acidity to sweetness and bitterness while learning about the process of grading coffee and the difference between commercial and speciality coffee.

Experience a guided tour of the warehouse and roastery, and taste five varieties of different coffees and processes. Watch as SCA trained Baristas demonstrate how the quality of coffee is assessed at origin in Colombia and learn about the fascinating history of coffee farming.
