The 153rd Open at Royal Portrush
The Open Championship returned to the stunning Causeway Coastal Route from 13th-20th July 2025. Royal Portrush Golf Club, which first hosted The Open in 1951, is renowned for its iconic Dunluce Links course. The latest championship held here in 2025 was a spectacular event as the world's top golfers competed for the Claret Jug on this challenging yet beautiful course.
Making Memories
We are still brimming with pride following the success of The 148th Open back in 2019 and The 153rd Open in 2025.
Both Championships have enhanced the Causeway Coast and Glens’ long-established reputation for great golf and golfing events on our championship links courses, including Portstewart Golf Club, host of the Irish Open in 2017 and Castlerock Golf Club, host of the ISPS Handa World Invitational in 2023.
And, it’s not just the courses that are famous – no less than three major title winners have lived here, namely Fred Daly, Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell.
