The Causeway Coast and Glens is renowned for hosting world class events from the Giro d’Italia in 2014, the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at Portstewart Golf Club in 2017 and most recently The 148th Open, Royal Portrush. Every year we celebrate a number of major sporting events including the internationally renowned North West 200 Motorcycle Races, and the SuperCupNI, as well as the largest airshow on the island of Ireland – Air Waves Portrush. Throughout the year, there are festivals and events marking our culture, heritage, artisan food and awesome adventure activities.

A Nelson McGonagle Exhibition Following the success of his last two books, local Limavady man Nelson McGonagle has published a third volume of his work, ‘Pictures of the Past’ again packed full of photographs, characters, poems, quotations, information and nostalgic captions. To complement the launch of this new book, Limavady Museum is displaying a selection of his photographs and captions, some of which will feature within his book. Opening hours Monday to Saturday 9.30am – 5pm
