DEMENTIA ACTION WEEK CRAFT WORKSHOP
Thursday 16 May | 4–5.30pm
Cost: £10 (for 2 participants)
During Dementia Action Week, Flowerfield Arts Centre will host this workshop for those living with dementia and a family member or friend.
Led by qualified art therapist Christina Smyth, you will paint/decorate small rocks that carry positivity and comfort. These 'pocket rocks' can be colourful, symbolic and feature positive words/messages, to be kept close by and read or rubbed to bring comfort as well as being a lovely display in your home. This workshop offers the opportunity to relax, have fun and create meaningful moments in a nurturing and safe creative environment.
