'Phil Robson's inventiveness on the guitar is unstoppable' - The Telegraph

'Robson performs impeccably throughout, whether he's contributing chordal washes in support, or taking the spotlight for some intricate, fluid solos of his own' - AllAboutJazz

Phil Robson's Organ Trio, featuring Phil Robson on guitar, Ross Stanley on organ, and Gene Calderazzo on drums, presents "The Cut Off Point." Renowned guitarist and composer Phil Robson, named Musician of the Year at the 2009 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, collaborates with Hammond virtuoso Ross Stanley and powerful drummer Gene Calderazzo in this all-star band. Their album, praised by Jazzwise magazine with 4 stars, offers a unique take on the jazz tradition of the organ/guitar trio. The trio's exceptional musicianship and dynamic chemistry deliver a refreshing mix of powerful melodies, grooves, and burning improv, pushing the organ trio format into fresh spheres.
