COLERAINE

When and where is Coleraine’s Halloween events located?

The Councils’ Halloween programme will take place on Wednesday 30th October. There will also be 4 days of entertainment organised by the Coleraine BID team.

 

Will there be parking restrictions?

Parking restrictions will be in place around Rugby Avenue.

 

Is there any disabled parking?

There will be limited disabled parking at Rugby Avenue playing fields available on a first come first serve basis.

 

Will there be any disabled toilets / changing facilities?

There will be a Mobiloo located in Rugby Avenue Playing Fields

 

Are there any admission charges?

The events are all free admission, however fair-ground rides will have a charge per ride

 

Can I bring sparklers?

Sparklers are strictly prohibited

Will there be a parade?

For the first year there will be a Halloween parade in Coleraine which is organised and managed by the Coleraine BID team. To get in touch for more information click here

 

Is there a quiet time for individuals with additional needs?

Yes, there will be a quiet time slime workshop in Rugby Avenue from 5.30pm – 6.30pm

 

Will there be Fireworks?

There will be fireworks at 8.30pm viewable from Rugby Avenue

 


 

BALLYMONEY

 

When and where is Ballymoney’s Halloween Events?

The Council’s Halloween event will take place on Monday 28th October in the Ballymoney Showgrounds.

 

Where can I Park?

Parking restrictions will be in place on the approach to Ballymoney Showgrounds.

 

Where can I find a programme?

Will there be a parade?

There will be a Community Lantern parade that is organised and managed by the CAN group. The Lantern parade will commence depart from Castlecroft Square at approx 6pm walking along Main Street, High Street, Townhead Street and North Road to the Showgrounds. Expect delays during this time.

 

Will there be any disabled toilets / changing facilities?

There will be a Mobiloo located in the Ballymoney Showgrounds

 

Are there any admission charges?

The events are all free admission, however fair-ground rides will have a charge per ride

Is there a quiet time for individuals with additional needs?

A quiet time slime workshop for those with additional needs will be in operation between 5.30pm-6.30pm.

There will be fireworks at 8.30pm viewable from the Ballymoney Showgrounds

 


 

LIMAVADY 

 

When and where is the event?

The Council’s Halloween event will take place on Tuesday 29th October from 7pm and is located in the Roemill Road Recreation Grounds

 

Where can I Park?

Parking restrictions will be in place on the approach to the entrance of Roemill Road Recreation Grounds otherwise vehicles can park on any other public parking spaces as normal.

 

Is there any disabled parking?

There will be limited disabled parking at Roemill Road Recreation Grounds on a first come first serve basis.

 

Will there be a parade?

Organised and managed by the Good Relations Limavady Town Team, a lantern parade will commence at 6.30pm from Limavady Community Development Initiative Grounds and will finish at the entrance to the Roemill Road Recreation Grounds

 

Roemill Road area will be heavily congested so expect delays at this time.

 

Will there be any disabled toilets / changing facilities?

There will be a Mobiloo located in the Roemill Recreation grounds

Is there a quiet time for individuals with additional needs?

For those with additional needs, there will be quiet time on the grounds between 6-7pm where you can get up close to some creepy animals such as rats, snakes, bearded dragons or try out the wall of terror!

 

Will there be Fireworks?

There will be fireworks at 8.30pm viewable from the Roemill Road Recreation Grounds

 


BALLYCASTLE

 

When and where is the event?

The Council’s Halloween event will take place in Ballycastle on Thursday 31st October and is located in the Seafront area

 

Where can I Park?

Parking restrictions will be in place on the roads near Ballycastle Seafront. Public parking is available at Harbour Carpark, Sheskburn Recreation Centre and Quay Road Playing Fields on a first come first serve basis

 

Is there any disabled parking?

There is limited disabled parking at the Marina Carpark

 

Will there be a parade?

The Halloween parade, will commence at 7pm from the Dalriada Hospital Lower Carpark on Leyland Road walking along Castle Street, The Diamond, Ann Street, Quay Road and North Street to the Seafront.  Expect delays at this time

 

Will there be any diversions will be in place?

There will be diversions around North Street and which will be closed from approx. 7.30pm – 9pm so expect delays at this time and follow the directional signs

New this year there will be a wall of terror to try if you dare and the opportunity to get up close to some rats, snakes, bearded dragons and more! For those with additional needs, there will be quiet time session with the animals and wall of terror between 5.30pm – 6.30pm.
