About

Karen & Co. hires out hand-built campervans from Ballymoney, on the Causeway Coast. Each campervan has a name and a character of its own.

The premium campervans are Ford Transit conversions with a diesel heater, a fitted kitchen and a memory foam mattress, with unlimited mileage and approval to travel anywhere on the island of Ireland. They sleep from two to five people, and the family campervans have an isofix point for a child seat.

All the campervans are dog friendly and run off-grid from a leisure battery, so you can take the Causeway Coastal Route, the Glens of Antrim or Donegal's Wild Atlantic Way at your own pace. Every hire starts with a full walk-through of the campervan, and you can leave your car in the Ballymoney car park for the length of your trip. Collection from Belfast International Airport, Belfast City Airport or Dublin Airport can be arranged for an extra charge.

Karen & Co. also has Vincent, a converted bus near Portrush that sleeps four, with a hot tub, a full kitchen and outdoor seating.

Campervans are available all year round, with a minimum hire of two nights.

* Campervans are hired all year round, with a minimum hire of two nights. Collection is from 14:30 and return is by 10:30 a late return until 12:30 can be added for £30. On Sundays a 17:00 return is available for £60.

Road Directions

Karen & Co. is in Bendooragh, just outside Ballymoney on the North Coast, about 10 minutes from Portrush and easy to find from the A26. Free parking is available on site for your car for the length of your trip. The Dark Hedges are about 15 minutes away and the Giant's Causeway about 35 minutes.

Public Transport Directions

Ballymoney railway station is 4.4 miles away, and Karen & Co. offers free collection from the station. Transfers from Belfast International Airport (£150), Belfast City Airport (£180) and Dublin Airport (£300) can be arranged in advance, subject to availability.
