About
Causeway Coast & Glens Branch of the North of Ireland Family History Society has a regular programme of monthly talks designed to assist folk research their family history - particularly those with ancestors in the CCG area. Some are on specific areas of research such as finding and using land records, censuses or DNA, and others are of a wider historical perspective eg farming or military ancestors. Normally there is a workshop every season where folk can ask local experts about how to knock down brick walls and develop their research.
The Branch next has a meeting on Tuesday 25th November 2025, at the Sandel Centre in Coleraine at 8.00pm. (Ground floor meeting room).
This month's meeting is a workshop where ww will have tables with experts on different subjects such as DNA, land records, wills etc who will try and help you develop your fmaily research, perhaps breaking down the odd brick wall.
If you are interested in your family tree, or are just thinking about researching it, why not come along to the meeting? The meeting is likely to last around 45 minutes and there is tea and coffee afterwards.
Admission is free for members and £3 for non-members. Booking is not required.
