About

Portrush based husband-and-wife artists Adrian Margey and Evana Bjourson are set to present their Joint Summer Exhibition and Sale of Work at Portballintrae Village Hall from Friday 7th - Sunday 9th August.
Visitors can look forward to Margey's striking interpretations of Northern Ireland's landscapes and landmarks, particularly his vivid and expressive depictions of the North Coast that have earned him widespread recognition. His collection will also feature more impressionistic pieces, characterised by natural colour tones and distinctive hand and finger-painting techniques.

Bjourson's work provides a softer, more reflective perspective on the North Coast, capturing the movement of waves, the changing light across Portstewart Strand, and intimate human moments set within expansive scenery. Her figurative pieces explore themes surrounding human purpose, while her wave studies evoke a sense of rhythm and coastal elegance.

"The Antrim coast is a constant source of inspiration for both of us, with its changing light, dramatic scenery and unique atmosphere. We're excited to bring our latest Summer Collections together at Portballintrae Village Hall and look forward to welcoming visitors to share in the exhibition." said Bjourson.

Margey added, "Although our artistic styles are quite distinct, this exhibition reflects the creative journey we've shared and the inspiration we both draw from the North Coast. We hope the collection resonates with visitors and offers an enjoyable and memorable experience for everyone who comes along."

The exhibition will be open on Friday 7th August and Saturday 8th August from 11am to 8pm, and on Sunday 9th August from 11am to 6pm. Admission is free, and all are welcome. Free parking is available in front of the Village Hall.
