About

The main house has 3 bedrooms with a bathroom and shower upstairs and shower room downstairs. There is a well equipped kitchen and eating area along with a large living room with seating for 9 people. The adjacent annex has a bright living area with basic cooking facilities, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower. Both the house and annex provide all that you will need for a very comfortable stay. The annex provides ideal additional living space if there are more than 6 guests staying.

Outside there is a patio area and garden with use of a BBQ and outdoor furniture. Whilst a car is recommended for travelling around and there is ample parking space at the house, there is also a bus stop opposite the property. This travels along the Causeway Coast and into the larger town of Coleraine.

Aird View is a short walk of 0.7 miles to the famous stones at the Giant’s Causeway and from here it is possible to walk for miles along the upper coastal path or to local beaches. Bushmills Distillery is in the village of Bushmills, 3 miles away. Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Dunseverick harbour are a short distance from the house. Ballintoy Harbour and the Dark Hedges, made famous by Game of Thrones are a few miles along the road also. Guests can enjoy a number of wonderful golf courses the closest being Bushfoot at Portballantrae, 3 miles away.

The neighbourhood of ‘Aird’ is a combination of local residents and holiday makers. It is set in a peaceful location but ideally located for all the main tourist attractions of the Causeway Coast. The villiage of Bushmills is 3 miles away and has some shops and restaurants. The Bushmills Inn often has live traditional music and is a lovely place at which to stop off for a drink. The house provides a detailed information booklet with ideas for days out and places to visit as well as places to eat.
Aird View house and annex will provide a ‘home from home’ experience in a beautiful part of N Ireland.
