About

Drum Gatelodge is a unique, pretty two-storey gatelodge built in 1800 at the end of a long avenue of beech trees on the edge of the Ballylough Estate, on a quiet country road near Bushmills, County Antrim.

Its rustic setting makes it an ideal romantic retreat from the stresses of everyday life – perfect for a couple or solo guest looking for somewhere restful.

The property accommodates up to two guests in one double bedroom and welcomes up to two dogs, making it an excellent base for exploring the stunning North Coast with your four-legged companions.

The property has underfloor heating with gas-fired central heating for extra comfort on cooler nights.

Guests mention spotting hares, rabbits, and other wildlife right outside the door, alongside the peace and tranquillity of the countryside location. Bushmills itself sits on the Causeway Coastal Route, close to the Giant's Causeway and the Bushmills Distillery, so there's plenty to explore without travelling far. Nearby are the blue flag beaches at Ballycastle, Portrush and Portballintrae.
