About

A semi-detached cottage nestled in the western end of White Park Bay in the old fishing hamlet of Portbraddan. Acquired by the National Trust in 1994, much of the existing building dates to the turn of the 20th century but represents rebuilding on the footprint of an earlier 1850's structure.

Views from the cottage encompass all of the bay's beautiful beach and dunes and extend out across the sea to the western cliffs of Rathlin Island. Portbradden Cottage sleeps 6 and has been tastefully decorated and comes complete with a crackling log-burner and a beach garden.

Excellent location for walking, fishing and bird watching. Close to Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge and Giant's Causeway World Heritage Site.

The front and rear gardens are a very rare example of an Irish coastal cottage garden with a naturalised community of coastal loving plants. Garden furniture available on rear patio area and in the seafront garden.

It is a quiet and relaxing hamlet due to no through road.

Welcome tray with tea, coffee, biscuits and fresh milk.  Multi-fuel stove pre set for first night. Selection of DVDs, CDs, books, puzzles and games available.

Pubs, restaurant and shops located in Ballintoy and Lisnagunagh (2 miles away).

Please refer to the National Trust website /www.nationaltrust.org.uk/holidays for prices.

Guests are allowed free entry to National Trust sites in Northern Ireland during their stay.
