Kick off the Easter holidays with a local shopping spree! Various craft and artisan markets will take place over the Easter holidays, starting with the Artisan Market by Naturally North Coast & Glens at the Marine Hotel in Ballycastle on 6th April. The following weekend, you can look forward to an Artisan Market at Portballintrae's Village Hall on 11th April, as well as the Causeway Speciality Market at Coleraine Town Hall on the same day which is celebrating 20 years of operation. In Portrush, visitors can look forward to a Craft Fair at Hilltop Holiday Park, which will also be hosting drop-in crafting sessions to try your hand at something creative from 11th-12th April.

Creative Craft Workshops

Get crafty this Easter with a range of creative workshops taking place throughout the area. On 1st April, The Courthouse in Bushmills will host a fun day of Easter Family Crafts, where kids will learn to make bunny ears and Easter cards before hunting for eggs around the building. At Flowerfield Arts Centre, both kids and adults can take part in fused glass workshops, where you'll learn how to make and decorate your own glass Easter Egg decorations. In Limavady, kids can sculpt their own Clay Hare on 9th April at Roe Valley Arts & Cultural Centre.

Live Music over the Easter Weekend

Dancing shoes at the ready! Many pubs, restaurants and hotels will be hosting live music evenings over the Easter weekend. In Bushmills, the Causeway Hotel will have local musician Francis Faulkner entertaining visitors and guests on Saturday 4th April, while the Bushmills Inn will host two consecutive nights of entertainment from 3rd-4th April in their cosy Gas Bar. At the Sandpiper Bistro Bar in the Coleraine, live music performances take place all weekend from 3rd-5th April, including entertainment on Easter Sunday. Head to Portrush, where The Safehouse Café Bar will been keeping guests up on their feet from 3rd-6th April, with traditional music performances and acoustic sets from talented local musicians.

Easter Scavenger Hunt at Rosepark Farm

5th-7th April | Ballymoney

Rosepark Farm, outside Ballymoney, will be holding an Easter Scavenger Hunt from Easter Sunday until Easter Tuesday. As well as searching the farm for clues, kids can also look forward to crafting in the barn, meeting the Easter Bunny and all of the usual fun to be had at Rosepark, including cuddles with the cutest bunnies, guinea pigs and baby chicks, sailing around on pedal tractors, checking out the playparks and having a go on the bouncy castles. A fun-filled day for all the family!

Mussenden Temple and Downhill Demesne Guided Tour

6th April | Downhill

Relive childhood memories at Curry’s Fun Park

If you visited the Causeway Coast as a child, you’ll probably have fond memories of being treated to endless days of fun in the seaside town of Portrush. Streets here are lined with amusements and arcades, but perhaps it’s most notable entertainment venue is that of Curry’s Fun Park, which was formerly known as ‘Barry’s’ for many years. Open from Friday 27th March - Sunday 12th April.

Go wandering with an Alpaca!

Situated on a quiet hillside farm outside the town of Portrush, you’ll find North Coast Alpacas. Take in breathtaking views of the mountains and sea from their family-run farm, enjoying the short trek to the summit. Feed and interact with the alpacas and snap some memorable pictures with them. RSPB West Light Seabird Centre
