Halloween Happenings 
in the Causeway Coast & Glens

Come along to enjoy some frightful fun in the Causeway Coast and Glens this Halloween as we welcome spooky characters, fire performers, live music, fireworks and much more.

The events kick off in Ballymoney on Monday 28th followed by Limavady on Tuesday 29th, Coleraine on Wednesday 30th and will finish in Ballycastle on Halloween night on Thursday 31st


Join us from 28th-31st October for some spectacular spooky events!

Each town in the region offers a unique Halloween experience for visitors and locals. Join in the fun this October!


28th October

Ballymoney’s Halloween programme includes the return of the annual fancy dress competition and Ballymoney Community Lantern Parade from Castlecroft Square.

Ballymoney Showgrounds will host a range of thrilling amusements, fire performers, DJ, spooky characters, live music by the Groove Robbers, Slime workshops, a new Harry Potter House and a spectacular fireworks display


29th October

Limavady’s Roe Mill Road Recreation Grounds will host an evening of family fun with frightful characters, fire performers, fancy dress competition, DJ Ned, a new wall of terror animal farm  and a thrilling fireworks finale

Join in on the fun ahead of the event as Limavady Town Team Good Relations Lantern Parade departs from the Limavady Community Development Initiative grounds at 6.30pm. 


30th October

New this year, there will be halloween entertainment organised throughout the day by Coleraine BID – more details revealed soon!

That evening, Rugby Avenue will be bustling with entertinement to include amusements, live music by The Cellar Door, slime workshops, fancy dress competition, some jaw dropping fire performances, spooky characters and an incredible fireworks display


31st October

Come along to the annual fancy dress competition and parade which will depart from Dalriada Hospital car park heading towards the Seafront.  Expect some new wow factor floats, fun with drums and much more! 

Ballycastle Seafront will host an evening of fire performances, spooky characters, amusements, wall of terror animal farm,  live music with the Fundamentals and a fantastic fireworks display finale

Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge

Dunluce Castle

The iconic Dunluce Castle bears witness to a long and tumultuous history. Built on the dramatic cliffs of north County Antrim by the MacQuillan family around 1500, the earliest written record of the castle was in 1513.
