About

Join the Playhouse for a Purr-fect Family Afternoon at the Movies!

Looking for a fun family day out this summer that also makes a real difference? Join North Coast Cat Rescue at Playhouse Portrush on Sunday 2 August 2026 at 2:00 pm for a special screening of The Garfield Movie!

Tickets are just £5 each and every ticket sold helps support the rescue, rehabilitation and care of vulnerable cats and kittens across the North Coast. By coming along, you'll not only enjoy a great afternoon of laughs with everyone's favourite lasagne-loving cat, but you'll also be helping give abandoned, injured and feral cats a second chance.

North Coast Cat Rescue is a volunteer-led charity dedicated to rescuing cats in need, finding loving homes for kittens and friendly cats, and running Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programmes to reduce the number of unwanted litters. Every pound raised goes directly towards veterinary care, food, neutering, and emergency treatment for cats that have nowhere else to turn.

Whether you're a Garfield fan, an animal lover, or simply looking for an affordable family outing during the summer holidays, the Playhouse would love to see you there. Bring your children, grandchildren, friends and neighbours, and help to fill the cinema while supporting an important local cause.

️ Tickets cost just £5 and are available via Eventbrite using the QR code on the poster.

Together you can enjoy a fantastic afternoon, have plenty of laughs, and make a lasting difference to the lives of cats across your community.

Book your tickets today – every seat sold helps another cat in need.
