When and where is the event?
Ballymoney’s Halloween celebrations will take place on Saturday 25th October at the Ballymoney Showgrounds.
What time is the event?
The Ullans Speaking Association will host a Community Lantern Parade, gathering at Castlecroft Square from 6:00pm. Fancy dress judging will take place from 6:10pm, followed by the parade setting off from Castlecroft Square towards The Showgrounds at 6:30pm.

Is there a quiet time for people with additional needs?
Yes - the Quiet Time will include reduced noise and lighting from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, featuring amusements, Witches Cauldron Toss, Hook a Duck, Wall of Terror, Trick or Treat, Potion Making, Chocolate Apple Decorating and Balloon Modeller.
Where can I park?
Parking restrictions will apply on routes approaching the Showgrounds. However, all town centre car parks will remain open as normal. Dalriada School will also offer parking. Please note Megaw Car Park will be closed for the event. Limited spaces for pre-bookable disabled parking is available at North Road. To reserve a space, contact Bushmills Visitor Information Centre on 02820730390 on a first come, first serve basis.
Will there be a parade?
Yes, the Community Lantern Parade, organised by the Ullans Speaking Association, will assemble at 6:00pm with fancy dress judging at 6:15pm. The parade will depart Castlecroft Square at approximately 6:30pm, travelling via Main Street, High Street, Townhead Street, and North Road to the Showgrounds.
Please expect some delays during this time.
Will there be any disabled toilets / changing facilities?
Yes - a disabled toilet and Mobile Accessible Changing Unit will be available in the Ballymoney Showgrounds.
Are there any admission charges?
All events are free to attend. However, please note, fairground rides will have a charge per ride.
Can I bring fireworks, smoke bombs or sparklers?
No — personal fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited.
Are there amusements?
Yes. The amusements will offer a Quiet Time session from 5:30pm-6:30pm, followed by general opening from 6:30pm-9:30pm.
Will there be fireworks?
Absolutely! Fireworks will take place at 8:30pm, viewable from the Ballymoney Showgrounds.
What should I wear?
Fancy dress is encouraged for all ages - you might even win a prize during the judging at Castlecroft Square. Please dress appropriately for the weather and with appropriate footwear.
Can I bring my dog?
For everyone’s safety, dogs are not permitted in the Showgrounds during the event, except for registered assistance dogs.

Yes! A selection of food and drink stalls will be available at the Showgrounds, offering tasty Halloween treats and hot drinks.

Yes - this is a family-friendly event, although some performances and characters may be a little spooky! Parental discretion is advised.

When and where is the event?
The Ballycastle Halloween event will take place at Ballycastle Seafront area on Monday 27th October 2025.
What time is the event?
The parade gathers at Dalriada Hospital Lower Car Park from 6pm with fancy dress judging at 6.15pm prior to departure towards the Seafront at 6.30pm.
Quiet Time for individuals with additional needs is at the Seafront from 5.30pm to 6.30pm and will include carnival games, photobooth, Circus skills Workshop, Wall of Terror and amusements. The amusements will open from 5.30pm.
The main event will commence at 6.30pm with fireworks planned to commence at 8.30pm. Music will begin at 6.30pm and continue until 9pm.
The full amusements will begin at 6.30pm until 9.30pm.
Is there a quiet time for people with additional needs?
Yes. There will be a Quiet Time for people with additional needs at the Seafront from 5.30pm – 6.30pm. This will include a balloon modeller, carnival games, photobooth, Circus Workshop, Wall of Terror and amusements.
Where can I park?
Parking restrictions will be in place on the roads near Ballycastle Seafront. Limited public parking is available at Harbour Carpark, Ferry Terminal Carpark, the Marina Carpark and Sheskburn Recreation Centre on a first come first serve basis.
Is there any disabled parking?
There is limited disabled parking at the Ferry Terminal Carpark which is pre-bookable by contacting Bushmills Visitor Information Centre on 028 2073 0390.
Will there be a parade?
Yes. The Halloween parade will gather from 6pm at the Dalriada Hospital Lower Carpark on Leyland Road walking along Castle Street, The Diamond, Ann Street, Quay Road and North Street to the Seafront. The fancy dress judging will take place at 6.15pm prior to the parade departure at 6.30pm to make its way to the Seafront. Expect delays at this time.
Will there be any diversions in place?
There will be diversions around North Street and which will be closed from approx. 6.30pm – 9pm so expect delays at this time and follow the directional signs.
Are there any admission charges?
The events and fireworks are all free admission; however amusement rides will have a charge per ride.
Will there be any disabled toilets?
There is a fully equipped Mobile Accessible Changing Unit at the Seafront.
Can I bring sparklers?
No — personal fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited.

The Coleraine Halloween event will take place at Ulster University on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th October 2025. On Wednesday 29th join us for a low noise, high sparkle, spooktacular evening of gentle thrills. Enjoy an evening of low noise fireworks, softer spooky trail, calm amusements and friendly characters, created for guests with sensory sensitivities for a Halloween everyone can enjoy. Thursday 30th October will be the regular fireworks and plenty more thrills and chills for a frightfully enjoyable night!
What time is the event?
There will be amusements from 3.00pm to 10.00pm on both days. Quiet time for individuals with additional needs will be from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The main event will commence at 6.30pm until 9.00pm with fireworks at 8.30pm. The event will close at 9.00pm with the amusements continuing until 10.00pm.
What activities will be happening on Wednesday 29th as part of the event?
Wednesday 29th October will be an event with lower key, quieter activities and low noise fireworks. Join us for a low noise, high fun, high sparkle event for all to enjoy. The following activities will be part of the event on the 29th October:
• Amusements – 3.00pm to 10.00pm
• Quiet Time for children and adults with additional needs – 5.30pm to 6.30pm including Carnival Games, Photobooth, Whack a Monster, Zombie Nerf Shootout, Circus Skills and Wall of Terror.
• Softer spooky trail
• Circus Skills with North Coast Circus
• Fire Poi display
• DJ playing spooky tracks
• Stilt Walkers
• Bubble Car
• Skydance NI
• Fancy dress competitions – 7.30pm to 8.00pm
• Fireworks (low noise) – due to commence 8.30pm
• Event close – 9.00pm

What activities will be happening on Thursday 30th as part of the event?
Thursday 30th October will be a full on fright night with plenty of thrills and spills to enjoy, plus fireworks. The following activities will be part of the event on the 30th October:

• Quiet Time for children with additional needs – 5.30pm to 6.30pm including Halloween Crafts, Circus Skills, Trick or Treat, Potion Making, Chocolate Apple Decorating, Witches Cauldron Toss, Hook a Duck, Wall of Terror.

Where can I park?
Parking restrictions will be in place on the Cromore Road. Free public parking is available at the Ulster University and a free park and ride will be in service from The Mall car park from 6.00pm to 10.00pm.
Is there any disabled parking?
There is disabled parking available which is pre-bookable by contacting Bushmills Visitor Information Centre – 028 2073 0390.
Will there be a parade?
There is no parade in Coleraine.
Are there any admission charges?
The events are all free admission; however amusement rides will have a charge per ride.

There will be Portaloos and a disabled Portaloo on site at the University. There will also be a Mobile Accessible Unit available.

The Limavady Halloween event will take place on Friday 31st October 2025 and is at the Roemill Road Recreation Grounds.
What time is the event?
Quiet time for individuals with additional needs will be from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. The main event will commence at 6.30pm featuring the newly improved and increased spooky trail with creepy characters, CJ Entertainments, Bubble Car, Fire Poi, Flash Mob, Skydance NI, spooky stilt walkers, fancy dress competitions and of course the fireworks! The fancy dress competition will be from 7.30pm to 8.00pm.
Is there a quiet time session for people with additional needs?
There will be a Quiet Time for people with additional needs from 5.30pm – 6.30pm which will include Trick or Treat, Potion making, Chocolate apple decorating, Witches Cauldron Toss, Hook a Duck, Circus Skills Workshop, Falconry Display and Kidz Farm creepy critters. Also the spooky trail with less spook!
Where can I park?
Parking restrictions will be in place on the approach to the entrance of Roemill Road Recreation Grounds otherwise vehicles can park on any other public parking spaces as normal. There will be no public parking within the Roemill Road site. Parking will be available at LCDI including for Blue Badge Holders with bus transfers available for those with additional or mobility needs.
Is there any disabled parking?
There will be no disabled or other public parking within Roemill Road Recreation Grounds. Disabled parking will be available at LCDI with bus transfers available from and to LCDI for those with additional mobility or other needs. The bus transfer service is pre-bookable by contacting Bushmills Visitor Information Centre on 02820730390.
Will there be any disabled toilets?
