Eleanor-Jane McCartney - Glass Artist - Fused Glass and Tiffany Glass
Join Eleanor-Jane who will demonstrate Tiffany style glass making - a technique featured on Sky Arts 'Painting Birds' Series 2, when she taught Jim (Vic Reeves) and Nancy Moir how to make a Tiffany glass puffin, which they now hang in their home. Eleanor-Jane holds workshops in The Boat House Gallery, beside The Giant's Causeway, if you'd like to see try this glass making technique for yourself.
Yolande Shannon / Yolande Shannon Designs
Join Yolande as she brings to life the age-old Irish tradition of spinning locally sourced wool and weaving it on her loom. With skilled hands and a deep connection to heritage, she transforms raw fleece into beautifully textured yarn, then intricately weaves it into unique textiles. This timeless craft, passed down through generations, is a celebration of local materials, sustainable practices. Watch as tradition and creativity intertwine in a process that honours both the past and the present.
