About

Polar Bolero have a rare gift for winning over an audience with a style entirely their own. Recent winners of the inaugural Gerry Anderson Bursary Award at the NI Music Prize 2025, the Derry-rooted band have carved out a space that is completely unique. They are a singular force in Irish music today, blending pop precision, folk storytelling, jazz flair, and theatrical sweep into a sound that is instinctive, distinctive, and quietly timeless.
