About

This Beyond
Stuart Quigley
11 April – 23 May

Based in Derry, Irish artist Stuart Quigley explores the phenomenon of light, colour and form layering over time. He is influenced by the dramatic landscapes where he has lived, in Cumbria, the Isle of Skye and his native North Coast of Ireland. Stuart writes: 'The conditions of light alter what we see and how we see it. What is painted is an eventual interpretation, a distillation of a set of experiences both empirical and from memory to form new responses'.
