Discover the world of edible plants, flowers, fruits, and fungi growing in the local landscape on this guided foraging experience around Portballintrae. Led by renowned foraging expert Clare McQuillan of Feasting on Weeds, this gentle walk will introduce you to the wild foods of summer and explore how they can be safely identified and creatively used in the kitchen.

Perfect for beginners, this event is designed to help you build confidence in recognising a variety of wild edible species while learning about their history, uses, and ecological importance. Along the way, Clare will share practical tips, fascinating stories, and insights into the rich natural heritage of the Causeway Coast.

The walk will conclude with a selection of delicious seasonal treats inspired by ingredients that can be found in the local area.
Suitable for all ages – ideal for families, nature enthusiasts, food lovers, and anyone curious about the natural world.
