The historic Ould Lammas Fair in Ballycastle—one of the oldest fairs on the island—transforms the seaside town each year with artisan stalls, traditional music, horse trading, street entertainment and bustling local hospitality. Major Sporting Events

The region is renowned for hosting some of Northern Ireland’s most iconic sporting events. The world-famous Briggs Equipment North West 200 brings extraordinary motorcycle racing to the road circuits linking Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine, drawing international competitors and thousands of spectators each year.

The Causeway Coast and Glens has also proudly welcomed The Open Championship to Royal Portrush in both 2019 and 2025 which brough thousands to our shores to witness one of the game’s largest international events.
