About

Happy Cottage Apartment is a light filled accommodation, all on one level, set within the countryside yet 10 minutes to the closest beach, golf course and horse-trekking facilities.

It has its own country lane, a safe space to dander. Super for toddlers/ primary school age to have freedom. This leads to the main road 0.6km up, and onto the reservoir with its forest and water reflections. There are two outside sitting areas with South and West aspect to: sit, dine, read, or play. These are private and will be shared with the local blackbird, blue tit, robin and goldfinch. These areas are superb for dining in the early evening after a beach visit, or at the chimenea fire in the late evening. The morning light is a delight to sit and read in.

From the master bedroom and family room the garden slopes away to view the sea, Portstewart and on a good day we can see the contours of Jura, Scotland! With NW winds, you can hear the waves crashing.

The accommodation, which is fully yours to enjoy for your set time, is joined by a closed corridor to a family home. The kiddos have flown the nest here! Therefore, it is a quiet part of the two acres location and the only area shared is the country lane. The resevoir is a 5km run/ walk from your front door around the perimeter paths. Watch the swan, mallard duck, heron, and swallows sweep and soar as you walk its loop route.
