Make your own Easter chocolate experience

The Easter holidays wouldn’t be complete without a healthy dose of chocolate. Head to The Chocolate Manor on the Causeway Coastal Route’s scenic seaside village of Castlerock, where the kids can learn how to make their own tasty Easter-themed creations. They’ll enjoy a delicious hot chocolate while their creations set, before they’re packaged up for them to take home and enjoy.

Make a new friend at Crindle Stables

Crindle Stables is situated beneath the stunning surrounds of Binevenagh – an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Causeway Coast and Glens. This Easter, they’ve got plenty of activities and fun days out available to keep everyone entertained over the break. Choose from a scenic beach ride at Downhill, a trek through the countryside, or horse grooming experiences and egg hunts at the stables.

Relive childhood memories at Curry’s Fun Park
Formerly known as Barry’s Amusements, the new Curry’s Fun Park will open in Portrush this Easter. The amusement park, which was run by the Trufelli family for over 100 years, is a must-visit during the spring and summer seasons in the Causeway Coast and Glens.

Experience Ireland’s largest inflatable outdoor waterslide

The fun doesn’t stop at Portrush; The Lake, situated in Kilrea, will reopen to adventure seekers from 15th April. This thrilling outdoor water park includes inflatable water-based obstacle courses, as well as Ireland’s largest inflatable outdoor waterslide, aptly named ‘The Beast’. It’s the perfect way to cool down should the weather decide to stay sunny and warm!

Or get your thrills on land

If you’re not confident enough in the water, you can have an equally adventurous day on land thanks to Carrowmena Activity Centre. Plenty of exciting activities are available to book for the Easter break, including ziplining, archery, orienteering and more!

The fun continues nearby

Not far from Carrowmena, you’ll find Limitless Adventure Centre – Northern Ireland’s first purpose-built hovercraft centre. Not only do they offer thrilling days out on these powerful vehicles, they also offer sessions on powerturn buggies, archery, and laser tag, to name a few.

Explore the natural surroundings

When you’ve had your fill of excitement, you can unwind by exploring our beautiful natural surroundings. Take to our sandy Blue Flag awarded beaches, squeeze in a spot of forest bathing on many of our woodland trails or see what you can spot in the many rock pools dotted along our coastline.

Remember to get some rest

After a busy day of exploring, it’s important to find somewhere peaceful to rest your head. Luckily, there are plenty of options available in the Causeway Coast and Glens. Choose from hotels, B&Bs, self-catering properties, or even glamping pods, where a warm welcome awaits you on your Easter break.
