About

The Puffin Gallery is an artist-led gallery that aims to promote and support established and emerging artists - the brainchild of Brigitte Le Boulleur, who is motivated by her passion for the arts.  Born in Perpignan, a daughter and granddaughter of jewellers, Brigitte's work is based on themes she explores through different media: textiles, ceramics, glass, paint, printing, or jewellery.

"My origins can be seen in my art as I love using strong colours - my region was the origin of the birth of Fauvism. I embrace new technologies and design patterns and jewellery using specialist software," Brigitte says.

She is married to fellow jeweller Robert Spotten, who creates traditional Celtic designs and a range of designer jewellery based on nature, space, and water. In 2014,...Read More

She is married to fellow jeweller Robert Spotten, who creates traditional Celtic designs and a range of designer jewellery based on nature, space, and water. In 2014, on the visit of HRM Queen Elizabeth II, Robert was commissioned to create a white gold brooch, the Bann Disc.

The gallery has fostered creativity in the community by organising community activities such as classes, knitting clubs, and even the yarn bombing of Ballycastle.
