Celebrate the vibrant legacy of Sam Henry at the annual Sam Henry Weekend, a spectacular festival of music, dance, food, and song in Portrush, from 25th–27th September 2026. This unforgettable event honours the renowned Coleraine man, Sam Henry – an Irish customs officer, antiquarian, folklorist, and musician best known for his remarkable collection Songs of the People, featuring nearly 690 timeless folk ballads assembled between 1923–1939.
