About

Experience the creativity of the Causeway Coast this summer with a visit to the Margey & Bjourson Art Studio & Gallery in the heart of Portrush. Throughout July and August, the gallery welcomes visitors every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 11am to 5pm, offering the perfect opportunity to explore an inspiring collection of original artwork in a relaxed and friendly setting.

Located on Mark Street, just a short stroll from Portrush's bustling town centre and beautiful coastline, the gallery is the shared creative space of acclaimed artists Adrian Margey and Evana Bjourson. Visitors can enjoy Adrian's vibrant contemporary landscapes, iconic Irish landmarks and expressive paintings inspired by the beauty of the North Coast, alongside Evana's captivating portraits, atmospheric seascapes and thoughtful figurative works.

Unlike a traditional gallery, the Open Studio experience allows guests to discover where the artwork is created, meet the artists in person and gain a unique insight into their creative process. Whether you're an experienced art collector, searching for a meaningful gift or simply looking for an enjoyable cultural experience during your summer visit to Portrush, there is something to inspire every visitor.

While the official Summer Open Studio weekends take place every Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 11am until 5pm, both artists are often busy painting in the studio during the week as well. If you happen to pass by and see one of them at the easel, you're very welcome to call in and browse the gallery. If you're planning a special visit on a weekday, it's a good idea to phone ahead to make sure one of the artists is in the studio to welcome you.

Original paintings, limited edition prints and commissioned artwork are all available, with the artists happy to discuss their work and answer questions. Admission is free, making the Summer Open Studio Weekends an ideal addition to any day exploring the spectacular Causeway Coast. Come along this summer and discover art inspired by the landscapes, people and spirit of Northern Ireland.
