Halloween celebrations across the Borough get underway in Ballymoney from 6:30pm with an evening of entertainment at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre. Visitors can enjoy a selection of amusement rides, encounter a host of spooky characters and enjoy an exciting programme of Halloween-themed fun!
Throughout the evening, the event site will be filled with music, colour and entertainment, creating the perfect setting to kick off the week of celebrations. From eerie encounters with roaming characters to the excitement of the fairground rides, there will be plenty to experience as darkness falls.
The evening will end with a spectacular fireworks display at 8.30pm, lighting up the night sky above Ballymoney and providing a memorable finale to the town's Halloween celebration.

Ballymoney’s ‘Causeway Coast & Glens Borough Council’ Halloween celebrations will take place on Saturday 24th October at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.

Will there be a Fancy Dress competition?
Fancy dress judging will take place at the stage from 7pm for age groups of 0-5years, 6-11 years, 12-17 & 18+

Yes - the Quiet Time will include reduced noise and lighting from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, featuring amusements, Eurekaseekers and Ray Bubbles, Chocolate Apple Decorating and Balloon Modeller.
👻 Where can I Park?
There is parking at the Joey Dunlop Centre. All other town centre car parks will remain open as normal. Limited spaces for pre-bookable disabled parking are available at Joey Dunlop. To reserve a space, contact Bushmills Visitor Information Centre on 02820730390 on a first come, first serve basis.

Yes - a disabled toilet and Mobile Accessible Changing Unit will be available.

All events are free to attend. However, please note, fairground rides will have a charge per ride.

❌ No — personal fireworks and sparklers are strictly prohibited.

Yes. The amusements will offer a Quiet Time session from 5:30pm-6:30pm, followed by general opening from 6:30pm-9:30pm.
