About

Celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day with a guided, early-morning walk through the beautiful Downhill Demesne and Forest.

Join a National Trust Regional Ecologist to learn the basics of identifying birds by their song and enjoy the rich variety of calls that fill the air at sunrise. By the end of the walk, you'll be able to tell a great tit from a chiffchaff with confidence!

This gentle two-hour experience offers a rare chance to immerse yourself in nature's great symphony and enjoy the calming, restorative atmosphere along the way of the woodland at first light. There will even be a stop for tea and coffee along the way...is there really a better way to start a fresh, spring morning?

This is a magical outing for early-risers, nature lovers and bird-spotters alike.
