About

About Cushendall Beach

Cushendall Beach is a peaceful, stony shoreline that perfectly captures the charm of Northern Ireland’s rugged coast. Located in the picturesque seaside village of Cushendall this beach offers spectacular views and tranquil surroundings.

Cushendall Beach is a shingle and pebble beach that curves gently along the edge of the village, offering panoramic views across the sea to the Mull of Kintyre in Scotland on clear days. The area is popular for walking, beachcombing, and enjoying quiet moments by the sea.

A small promenade runs alongside the beach, offering benches, picnic tables, and direct access to the sand and stones. The beach is bordered by Cushendall Golf Club, with its scenic 9-hole course, and lies just a short walk from the heart of the village, where visitors can find traditional pubs, cafés, shops, and local heritage attractions.

With the towering Lurigethan Mountain rising behind the village and Glenballyeamon sweeping down to the sea, Cushendall Beach is a scenic spot for photographers, nature lovers, and those exploring the Antrim Coast Road.
