Pony Pals: Fun on the Farm at Crindle Stables

About

Pony Pals is a relaxed, hands-on farm activity created for toddlers and young children who love animals, getting outdoors, and doing real things on a farm.

It's the perfect way to get a feel for farm life—whether it's brushing ponies, feeding animals, or helping out around the yard. It's a gentle introduction to ponies and a great confidence-builder for little ones who are curious but maybe not quite ready to hop in the saddle just yet.

Crindle Stables is based just outside Coleraine and Limavady, and easy to reach from Portrush and Derry/Londonderry.

What Happens During Pony Pals:

Meet & Feed the Animals
Depending on the day, your child might meet their friendly ponies, goats, sheep, or horses. It changes from session to session, but there's always something to say hello to, pet, and help feed.

Help Around the Farm
Little ones can brush ponies, help tidy up the stables, and hop in a wheelbarrow for a fun ride to the paddock. It's proper hands-on fun that makes them feel part of the team.

A Gentle Pony Walk
Each child has the chance to groom and lead a pony, then go on a short, safe pony ride with support. It's calm, steady, and ideal for helping kids feel confident around ponies.

A great way to introduce children to animals, being outside, and learning by doing.
