Wayward | Sarah Wren Wilson | Art Exhibition

Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre, 24a Main Street, Limavady, County Londonderry, BT49 0FJ
Sarah Wren Wilson

About

Wayward invites viewers into a space where perception, memory, and imagination meet. Featuring recent paintings and sculptural forms by Sarah Wren Wilson, the exhibition explores landscapes - real and imagined - as portals to emotional and psychological states. Drawing on Jungian ideas, Wilson reveals the dialogue between conscious intention and the unconscious, filtering place and time through personal perception. Grids, recurring motifs, and “guilty lines” map memory and tension, while natural materials highlight her sculptural sensibility. Through abstraction, the works resist fixed meaning, instead offering liminal spaces where inner and outer worlds reflect one another and invite contemplative engagement.
