Ballymoney Drama Festival provides audiences with a rare opportunity to see a variety of well-written plays, many of which have already been successful in the West End and on Broadway, close to home and for a very reasonable price. The Drama Festival are delighted that nine of the best amateur dramatic companies in the Province will once again be bringing their considerable skills to the stage of Ballymoney Town Hall in 2020.

The nine plays will be performed by top Ulster drama groups starting on the first night with Ballymoney Literary and Debating Group. The other groups performing are Slemish Players, Newpoint Players Newry, Rosemary Drama Group, Bart Players, Holywood Players, The Clarence Players and Theatre 3 Newtownabbey.

Audiences will be treated  to a varied programme of interesting and enjoyable plays performed by these very experienced groups and can look forward to this extended festival of nine plays .

The adjudicator this year will be Jennifer Scott-Reid who is a member of the UK Guild of Drama Adjudicators, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has 30 years’ experience in all aspects of theatre, including several productions at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Plays commence nightly at 8pm with the exception of the final night when the play will commence at 7.30pm. For a full programme please see Ballymoney Drama Festival website as indicated.

SEASON TICKETS ONLY:  Season Tickets can be purchased on Friday 14th & Saturday 15th  February 2020 from 10am until 4pm at Ballymoney Town Hall.

NIGHTLY TICKETS:

Nightly Tickets are available from Ballymoney Town Hall from Wednesday 19th February from 10am until 4pm and nightly during the Festival.
