PIRATES OFF PORTRUSH

All events are FREE admission.

Pirates Off Portrush is a two day festival with Drama, Dance, Parade, Music, Heritage Fair, Artisan Market and Have-a-go Games. Each year our intrepid Pirate Off Portrush “Tavish Dhu” embarks on an adventure to save Portrush from a terrible fate.

On Saturday the 4th July Tavish and his Pirates discover that gold belonging to Sorley Boy McDonnell of Dunluce Castle has been stolen. and Tavish agrees to get the gold back.

On Sunday 5th July there is fun for all the family at the Heritage Fair in Antrim Gardens (which is the location of a former 12th/13th Century Ecclesiastical Settlement). The 2020 Heritage Fair will include an Artisan Fair, Children’s Games, Story Telling, Theatre Tent with a programme of Entertainment, Concert Band, Characters in Costume, Maritime Heritage Boats, Community . Groups eg RNLI, Air Ambulance, Mountsandel Project, and a range of Children’s have-a-go events.
