Travel back almost 10,000 years and join Mountsandel Discovery & Heritage Group for a guided walk & talk on Mesolithic Mountsandel. An archaeological gem, Mountsandel in Coleraine is the earliest known site of human settlement on the island of Ireland, dating to the Mesolithic era (c.7000 BC).

The walk will include a visit to the Mesolithic dig site and the famous ‘Mount’, a medieval earthwork structure commonly believed to be the remains of an Anglo-norman fort.
