Also within 20-25 miles from the accommodation are some of the best beaches and surf in Northern Ireland, with Benone, Downhill, Castlerock, Portstewart and Portrush all wthin a short drive of each other.

Nearby is the beautiful Banagher Glen, home to some of the most beautiful walking trails in the Sperrins. A secluded, steep wooded glen leading to Altnaheglish Reservoir and Banagher Dam, it’s one of the oldest ancient oak woodlands in Ireland and a Nature Reserve and Special Area of Conservation.

Just a little further afield (approximately 20 miles) in Bellaghy is Seamus Heaney HomePlace, a purpose built arts and literary centre celebrating the life and work of the Nobel Laureate Seamus Heaney who was born and raised in the area.
