The Willows House & Studios has three acres of gardens in the idyllic Roe Valley, on the Causeway Coastal Route midway between Derry and Giant's Causeway. Choose the accommodation that best suits you: Our Studios welcome families and one small-to-medium dog; our Boutique B&B welcomes guests 18+, no pets. Willow House (Boutique B&B): A tastefully modernised Edwardian country house with large, light-filled en-suite rooms, reserved exclusively for adults, and a homemade, locally-sourced continental breakfast.
Willow Studios (Self-Catering): Four ground-floor, accessible, family-friendly studios (sleeps 4), each with a private entrance, lounge, smart TV, kitchenette and private patio. One small-to-medium dog is welcome (wee fee).
Willow House (Boutique B&B): Your stay includes a complimentary homemade continental breakfast each morning, prepared with locally sourced, seasonal produce. Specialty coffee, freshly baked goods, and a breakfast that guests consistently rate among the best they have ever eaten.
Willow Studios (Self-Catering): Optional. A homemade continental breakfast can be added to your stay for £10 per person per night — prepared with locally-sourced produce and served each morning.
Step outside and the grounds are yours to enjoy. The outdoor hot tub sits beneath open sky with Binevenagh Mountain as your backdrop — best experienced at dusk with a glass of something cold. The covered BBQ terrace is strung with fairy lights and comes with a pizza oven, open-air kitchen, chiminea, gas BBQ, and lawn games. There is also a cosy in-house library and a guest refreshment station stocked with teas, coffees, and specialty drinks.
All four Willow Studios can be booked together for family gatherings, group celebrations, or multi-generational escapes — special group rates are available on request.
The Willows sits at the heart of Northern Ireland's most spectacular scenery. Benone Strand — a two-mile Blue Flag beach — is a 10-minute drive. Giant's Causeway is 35 minutes away. Mussenden Temple is 20 minutes. The city of Derry is 30 minutes. Royal Portrush Golf Club is 30 minutes, with 7 courses within 20 minutes. 23 Game of Thrones filming locations are accessible from the door. The Magilligan Point ferry to Donegal departs 10 minutes away. Your host Annie will hand-draw you a personalised map of local recommendations — a detail guests mention in review after review.
